johnomanvisuals.com is up and running!

Hi Everyone!

Thanks to everyone who responded with their thoughts on the new logo, it was great to get your feedback. The new website is operational! Hosted by Cargo Collective, you can visit it here.  I am really excited about this site, I think it's starting to look really smooth.

It is only a home for my demo reel right now, but I will be moving my whole portfolio operation over there in the coming weeks, so check back periodically for updates.

I will continue to update you on news and artwork on this site as well, so this blog will not be going down, but the role is changing. It is not a good format for a portfolio but it's great for periodic updates.

Thanks for all the support everyone!

New Logo Design's for the New Website!

So the time has come that I have finally outgrown the old blog and now I am working on a slick new website hosted at Cargo Collective. More information on that when it's done, but until then, new logo!

Here are the final 3 logo designs that I have settled on. I am kind of leaning towards 2 right now, but I like 1 quite a bit and I feel like 3 is the least personal/informative but kind of works on it's own.

Which one do you like best? Let me know in the comments!

Numbers Agent: Sales Video Story Board to Completed Product

Here is a sample of the story board a made for Numbers Agent. We are just finishing the production of their first sales video now. It will be posted on their website when they launch.

Scorched Earth: Sample Pencils

Here is a sample of Scorched Earth, a comic that I am working on with Matthew Bielman. It's a gritty sci-fi western - exciting! I'm still working on developing the look, I'm not sure if we want to do traditional pencils or something a little more modern. I will keep you posted!

Character Designs: BC Government 's Stickman says: Decide for yourself

Here are some of the pre-production sketches I did for the BC government's new decide for yourself campaign. They kept the style although they ended up altering the exact designs for the final product. I still like the originals though!

Hey everyone, here is a link to episode 4 of "Arlo and Flip: Vote Mob". The other episodes are still on the site as well, although I think this one is my favorite!
